Located in BHE B8, the main space of the Instructional Lab houses a variety of equipment for the fabrication of microdevices and samples.

Throughout BHE B8 and B7A are equipment specialized in the microscopy and analysis of small particles ranging from cells to nanoparticles.

In BHE B8A, a sub-section of B8, is a dedicated cell culture facility, equipped with two biosafety cabinets and CO₂ incubators. In B7 are two storage freezers kept at -20 and -80 °C.
