McCain receives 2018 CMBE Young Innovator Award

Congrats to Assistant Professor Megan McCain!  The Chonette Early Career Chair has won a 2018 Young Innovator Award of Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering (CMBE). A core faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, McCain is the PI of the Laboratory for Living Systems Engineering 

For the award selection, each recipient was judged on their CV and a submitted abstract for a full-length manuscript. Upon selection, their full-length manuscript is published as part of the 2018 CMBE Young Innovators special issue in the CMBE journal. Additionally, awardees present their research in an invited platform session at the Annual Meeting of Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), to be held in Atlanta, GA, in October 2018.
