NAI selects USC student research team for 2018 Student Innovation Showcase

March 6, 2018

Congrats to the Senseer student research team from the BME department!

The National Academy of Inventors® (NAI) has selected the remarkable team to participate in the 2018 Student Innovation Showcase at our Seventh Annual NAI Conference at the Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection in Washington D.C.

The Senseer project, formulated and developed by BME students Alex Baldwin, Trevor Hudson, and Eugene Yoon, will be exhibited and presented in the final day of the meeting, on the morning of Friday, April 6th.

This is a very unique opportunity for emerging student innovators to gain recognition for their cutting-edge inventions in front of an audience of world-renowned inventors and technology commercialization leaders. Only a total of six student teams have been chosen from a strong application pool to compete for first place distinction. Judging criteria will be based upon the invention’s novelty, potential benefit to society, potential for commercialization, and technical feasibility.
