Congratulations to PhD student Joycelyn Yip for receiving the 2018 WiSE Leadership Award for Students and Postdoctoral Scholars. The award was created in 2015 to distinguish exceptional students and postdoctoral scholars at USC who are making a positive difference in their scholarly community.
Yip is a member of Assistant Professor Megan McCain’s Laboratory for Living Systems Engineering. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from USC in 2015 and her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, also from USC, in 2017. Yip currently serves as the Vice President of Adminstration for the USC Graduate Student Government and as Vice President of Graduate Students of Biomedical Engineering (GSBME – USC chapter).
