May 23, 2008 — Please join the Biomedical Engineering department in congratulating Dr. Michael Khoo for having been elected as a North America - U.S. Representatives to the IEEE-EMBS Administrative Committee. 

Elected by IEEE EMBS members, from its membership, the Administrative Committee helps maintain the Society’s vitality through the implementation of new programs, the oversight of technical and educational activities, and by staying in touch with members to ensure the Society fulfills the mission laid out in its charter.

IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is the world's largest international society of Biomedical Engineers, with 8,200 members residing in some 70 countries around the world.
