Qifa Zhou and Kirk Shung win best paper at imaging and sensing conference

Professor Qifa Zhou

Department of Biomedical Engineering faculty members, Professor Qifa Zhou and Professsor K. Kirk Shung, Dwight C. and Hildegarde E. Baum Chair in Biomedical Engineering, have recently been honored with a Best Paper Award from SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics.

They received the award from the 2018 Photons Plus Ultrasound : Imaging and Sensing conference in San Francisco for their paper titled Whole-organ atlas imaged by label-free high-resolution photoacoustic microscopy assisted by a microtome.
