Complete and submit the USC online graduate application (application fee required). The following documents can be submitted directly through the online application system, if needed:
  • Résumé
  • 3 Letters of recommendation
  • Statement of purpose
  • Supplementary materials such as publications, awards and certificates are not required but you may include these materials  in .pdf form via the USC online graduate application.

Arrange to have the following sent to the USC Office of Admission:
  • Official grade transcripts, and official translations if they are not in English.
  • GRE scores (official scores must be sent through ETS to the University of Southern California, ETS code 4852; no need to send a separate report to the BME Department)
  • TOEFL scores (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY;official scores must be sent through ETS to the University of Southern California, ETS code 4852; no need to send a separate report to the BME Department)
  • International applicants: Proof of financial support
  • Any additional documents that cannot be submitted online
