Jong-Seob Jeong received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering in 1999 and 2001, respectively, from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.  From 2001 to 2005, he worked at Telecommunication Research and Development Center, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., in Kyunggi-do, South Korea, where he initially participated in the development of WCDMA wireless communication system.  He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

His research interests are medical signal processing and design, modeling, and fabrication of ultrasonic array transducers for diagnosis and therapy.
